Cynthia's story of struggle, perseverance, consistency and ultimately, success is a wonderful example of someone who took ownership of her health and is now leading the people we serve on their own journeys.

Before:

Cynthia was a kindergarten teacher and she’d spent 20 years taking care of everyone else in her life. In her 20s and 30s, she had no trouble staying in shape.  The stress of teaching hit and she  began to put on weight. By her mid-50s, she was exhausted. She added 5lbs a year and lost energy, drive and happiness. She knew a change was needed.

After:

Weight slowly came off as her fitness slowly improved to the point where we could add heavier weights. In 16 months, she lost 45 pounds without injury, her weight from her late 20s. She was more confident, clothes fit better, and she has more energy.

From Struggling to Ascend Stairs to Mastering Mobility:

Gail's story is relatable to a lot of people. As she wound down to retirement things started to become more difficult, but that doesn't have to be the final chapter. Gail is proof of that.

Before:

Gail came to us wearing a back brace the size of her torso. She had to use the elevator because she couldn’t walk up the stairs. Her goal was to be able to walk her dog on the beach and look for seashells.

After:

That back brace is gone, she's practically floating up the stairs and walks EVERY DAY on the beach with her pup. Gails works with our Success Coach's 3x per week when she is in town.
